Summary: VES is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Faridabad, India location. This person will be responsible to receive and store components required for manufacturing, manage stocks & inventories approver of production workshops & follows company safety policies and procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Carry out a visual inspection of the products and delivery notes received.
• · Enter the receipt in the ERP and archive delivery notes and transport dockets.
• · Deliver products and packages (after possible unpacking) to the recipient or to quality control if necessary.
• · Upon receipt of validation from the controller, place the product in stock for products subject to quality control.
• · Participate in rotating inventories and the annual inventory in partnership with production assistant.
• · Alert buyers in case of low stock for possible restoring.
• · Identify expired materials.
• · Store, reference and label production consumables to quality control.
• · Ensure the unloading of trucks at the dock or inside the warehouse.
• · Supply (in conjunction with the foreman or team leaders) the areas of the workshop with production
• consumables and certain raw materials (nozzles, PDC, steel cutting.
• · Ensure the transfer (physical and computer) of products consigned for consumption.
• · Organize the storage of raw materials in order to optimize stock rotation.
• · Ensure that SAP stocks match physical inventories (raw materials, semi-finished and finished products.
• · Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Competencies (skills & abilities):

Ability to-

• · Proficiency in SAP and in Microsoft office.
• · Drive and handle forklifts (CACES).
• · Knowledge in following areas: Stock levels, Raw materials and consumables, Products of the company,
• Workshop processes such as quality control, molding, machining, infiltration, thermal treatment etc.
• · Safety and Environment rules.
• · Quality knowledge.
• · Work with autonomy on the whole scope of the position.

Education & Knowledge:

· Bachelor's degree in materials management or related field preferred.

Work Experience:

· At least of 5 years experienced in warehouse in industry.
