Summary: VES is looking for a Global SAP Senior Analyst to join our team in our Matamoros,Tamaulipas location. This critical role demands deep expertise in SAP Logistics Modules like SD, MM,PP,PM,QM, etc. It requires technical leadership, strong business acumen, and the ability to operate within a global framework. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent people management skills and the drive to deliver results through strategic planning and process excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support and drive lean principles towards excellence to instill a shift in thinking towards plant-wide continuous improvement.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Configure, customize, and enhance SAP logistics modules to meet global business needs.
- Lead and participate in SAP implementation, rollout, and upgrade projects, including S/4HANA migrations.
- Provide expert-level support for SAP SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, WHM, and other logistics modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor SAP system performance and recommend optimizations.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide innovative SAP solutions.
- Collaborate with teams across finance, production, supply chain, and other functions to ensure seamless integration of logistics processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Train end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of SAP systems.
- Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline logistics processes using SAP functionalities.
- Stay updated on SAP developments, particularly in logistics modules, and recommend relevant innovations.
Education and/or Experience:
- Professional career (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in SAP logistics modules with a track record of successful implementations and support.
- SAP certifications in relevant modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish, conversational)
