Summary: VES is looking for an Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to join our team in our Matamoros,Tamaulipas location. This person will work and be responsible with assisting in overseeing and managing all aspects of the accounting functions, including general ledger accounting, financial reporting, accounts payable and disbursements, and cash management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Reviews new product designs and ensures manufacturability of three-piece augers by participating in review meetings with design engineering involving manufacturing engineers, designers and programmers.
• Oversees and reviews drawings and methods for processing various component assemblies within specifications.
•  Supports Manufacturing Engineers in cutting tool selection.
• Oversees the design of clamping fixtures for various products. 
• Work in conjunction with CNC Programming to optimize the efficiency of the manufacturing processes of the tri-cone drill bits.
• Oversees and provides technical assistance to support process flow improvement, analyzing manufacturability of assemblies, proposing modifications in both manufacturing and assembly design.
• Oversee station load balancing to establish continuous production flows.
• Monitor manufacturing capabilities and skills to recommend equipment to adequately support manufacturing when workload increases or when new engineering designs require additional or different equipment.
• Monitors the behavior of quality indicators, to direct or guide the attention of Manufacturing and Design Engineers, to seek reduction of manufacturing defects. 
• Supervises the elaboration of work routes in SAP, as well as product costs; keeps record of product costs.
• Develop special projects according to the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.       

Education and/or Experience:

• Professional degree in Electromechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Typically 8 years in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of CNC programming, Autocad or ProE, welding and heat treating.
