Summary: VES is looking for a HR Recruiter to join our team in our Faridabad India location. This person will plan and carries out activities related to Human Resources Recruitment processes by performing the following duties personally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Design and implement the global recruitment strategy.
  • Responsible for recruiting and attracting talent for all Varel sites. Participating in the end-to-end hiring processes, ensuring candidate intake, evaluating resumes, scheduling, and conducting interviews, and managing hiring documentation.
  • Collaborate with hiring requesters to assess key requirements and specific job objectives based on job descriptions and/or specific job requirements, in addition to defining timelines for filling vacant positions and advising on direct, indirect, and administrative staffing strategy.
  • Proactively and continuously source, develop and maintain an effective network of diverse talent.
  • Identify and leverage creative, innovative and current candidate search solutions.
  • Leverage recruitment resources and post open positions on websites, social media, internal applicant tracking system, and professional and educational organizations to identify, recruit and network candidates.
  • Manage and utilize recruitment tools, such as testing and pre-assessments for candidate skills assessment.
  • Evaluating resumes and cover letters.
  • Conducting telephone, online and in-person interviews.
  • Providing a list of qualified candidates to hiring requesters.
  • Maintaining accurate and orderly documentation of candidates, searches, interactions with hiring requesters, and other hiring activities to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Conducting job postings.
  • Contacting new employees and following up on the onboarding process.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of recruitment reports and make recommendations for improvement. Meet metrics established by the assigned business unit or function.
  • Attend job fairs and career events.
  • Responsible for updating Recruitment and Selection policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Updating and adapting Job Descriptions to Varel's current formats.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Completed degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field.
  • Demonstrated work experience as a Recruiter Coordinator, Recruiter or similar for at least 3 years.
  • Accurate, clear, and concise communication skills in English.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and best practices.
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g., structured, competency-based, and behavioral). Hands-on experience in various selection processes such as telephone interviewing and reference checking.
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and applicant management systems.
  • Ability to use psychometric tests and other assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with social media.
