Summary: VES is looking for a Completions Manager to join our team in Huston,Texas. Manages a product line life cycle from strategic planning through tactical activities. Leads the development, implementation, and coordination of technical and business development activities related to product deployment to meet company financial and technical objectives and to support
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Spends time in the market and visits customers and potential customers to conduct market research, understand the problems/opportunities, specifies and prioritizes market requirements for current and future products, and finds innovative solutions for the broader market.
- Lead Sales for Completions business line, including proposal preparation and negotiations.
- Leads the strategic planning for and guides the success of an assigned product or product line. Creates and presents strategic decision proposals based on all market facts, results of the analyses (competitors, SWOT, target segments etc.), evaluations (KPIs, product profitability), market, distribution, positioning, and communication strategies.
- Participates in opportunity analysis. Reviews performance of our products and our competitors. Assesses and holds regular status comparison with technology, engineering operations, and sales.
- Supports the sales, operations and engineering teams by providing commercial/technical expertise and solutions. Ensures that requirements and user scenarios are technically understood by everyone.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for product management with the technical teams. Informs the technical teams about market facts, purpose and vision for the product. Builds products from existing ideas and helps to develop new ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers and prospects.
- Works with marketing to create the product positioning, the benefit arguments and sales arguments for the target segments, and disseminates to sales. Prepares technical articles for distribution to sales department, customers or industry media avenues. Provides product training and related technical information for all employees.
- Performs regular evaluation of the KPIs, revenue budget, costs, and implements controlling measures.
- Provides regular status reports to stakeholders and management
- Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Education & Knowledge/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with ability to maintain an acceptable driving record in line with company requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of product line, customers and industry.
- Advanced knowledge of testing limits and constraints.
- Understands how decisions affect other parts of the organization.
- Typically, at least fifteen years of related experience. Experience with similar product, customers, and industry preferred.
